Typescript, dated 1984. The scene is a melon patch in New Mexico in 1906. A leading character is Carlos Montezuma. This script was used for the production at Yale Repertory Theatre, New Haven Conn., in Nov. 1987. There had been a previous production by the Royal Shakespeare Company in England in 1985.
